This notice separates local quiz processing from ordinary hosting, analytics, and advertising services.
Operator and contact
TraderTypes operates this site. Contact support@tradertypes.com for privacy, access or correction requests. Do not email brokerage credentials, identity documents or account statements.
Answers stored on your device
The current TT-C2 assessment calculates results locally. Answers, selected markets, experience and practice progress remain in this browser until you clear them on the homepage or delete site data. Old TT-C1 answers are preserved when adding new scenarios. The separate legacy TT4 assessment also uses local storage. There is no cross-device sync. Sample reports do not replace your answers. PDF generation runs locally.
Optional analytics and withdrawal
Google Analytics is off by default across the site. Only after you opt in using the footer control do we load its tag and send page views or usage events. Allowed event fields describe language, page/stage, question count, model and visual version; answers, scores, personality type and market context are excluded. Google may receive ordinary device/network data when analytics is enabled. The choice is saved in this browser. Turning it off blocks future site events, withdraws analytics consent and removes accessible first-party Analytics cookies; this does not erase information already received by Google. You can use the assessment without opting in.
Cookies and advertising
The optional-analytics choice and assessment progress use browser storage. A tt_variant cookie can persist for up to 90 days to maintain the current B presentation; it no longer randomly assigns A/B. Google ad-serving scripts are currently disabled. Publisher ownership metadata and ads.txt remain available for verification and do not themselves serve ads. Enabling advertising later requires an updated notice and the applicable consent setup.
Hosting, links and your choices
Hosting providers may process IP address, browser, URL, time and security logs under their own retention policies. External links open services with their own privacy terms. You can delete site data in your browser and contact support with privacy questions. Google explains its data use at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
